Our client is a construction company in East Groningen, focusing on new construction, refurbishment and maintenance. Clients are private housing corporations, healthcare institutions and government in the north of the Netherlands. In addition, the company is active in the earthquake file, doing reinforcement and demolition/new construction. This company does everything based on knowledge, craftsmanship and experience. They use permanent partners and the specialised employees carry out practically all carpentry and maintenance work.

Job information

As a cooperating superintendent, your duties will include the following:

• Monitoring the quality and progress of the work.
• You consult with the (head) foreman about the planning or challenges you encounter.
• You are partly responsible for managing site personnel and subcontractors on the construction site.
• You check the extra and less work.
• If the situation requires it, you will also help out on the construction site.

Offer

We offer you the following as a cooperating contractor:

• A one-year contract via BVB, after which you can be taken over by our client.
• Terms and conditions in accordance with the collective labour agreement for construction and infrastructure.
• A salary of at least € 3,000 to a maximum of € 3,800 (depending on your experience).
• Other secondary conditions are also well arranged.

Job requirements

We expect the following from you:

• You have completed an intermediate vocational course in construction engineering or have the right work experience to start work as a cooperating supervisor.
• A driving licence is a must to work as an assistant supervisor.
• You stand your ground on the building site.
• You like to work in a structured way and keep a tight schedule.
