Job information

As Infra Superintendent, you are the focal point on the construction site. You ensure that the project runs smoothly and on schedule. You are involved from start-up to completion and keep an overview of the daily operations. In this role, you will work closely with your team, maintain contact with clients and ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Coordinating and directing work on the construction site
• Leading large infrastructure projects from start to completion
• Planning personnel, materials and resources and monitoring progress
• Maintaining contacts with clients and the project team
• Financially monitoring the project budget and identifying opportunities
• Resolving unexpected situations
• Enforcing safety and environmental regulations and quality guidelines

Job requirements

What do we ask of you?

• A completed MBO or HBO course in Civil Engineering (or similar)
• HBO working and thinking level
• In possession of VOL VCA and BHV (or willingness to obtain these)
• Management skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Financial and business insight and operational decisiveness
• Customer-oriented, commercial and result-oriented with market-technical insight
• Experience with large civil engineering projects
• Knowledge of relevant assessment guidelines and environmental legislation
• Good oral and written skills
• Negotiation skills and an eye for opportunities and improvements
